About 1/4 in works for mugs, plates and boxes. Roll thinner for tiles and ornaments. The linen weave leaves a light fabric texture, so roll thicker if you plan to press the pattern in.
Lift the slab once it firms, compress both sides with a rib, and dry it slowly under plastic. A 39 x 59 in cloth is large enough to lay the slab flat on while it stiffens.

The supplier image describes the cloth as absorbent. Use it as a rolling surface and let clay firm enough to lift cleanly; release depends on the clay and how wet the cloth is.
