It is sold as a drying board and is not listed with bat-pin holes. Use it to move and dry pieces, or as a larger top on a turntable.
A drying bat supports fresh pottery while you move it and let it firm up. These boards are not listed with bat-pin holes; check compatibility before using one on a wheel.
Lightly dampen the bat before throwing and cut the piece free with a wire once it is done. The absorbent surface then helps the base release as it dries.
