Using the store

Mud Mercantile offers pottery tools and studio supplies. Product descriptions and photos are meant to help you choose a tool; review the selected style and order details before placing your order. You must provide an accurate email address and delivery address so we can contact you and ship your purchase. A mobile number is optional; if you give one, please make sure it is correct.

Orders and payment

The checkout shows the item price, available shipping charges, taxes, and order total before you place an order. We may contact you if an item becomes unavailable or an order cannot be fulfilled. Payment is processed by the payment method you choose at checkout.

Shipping and support

Delivery timing shown on the site is an estimate. You may return items within 30 days of delivery, and return shipping is free: email [email protected] with your order number and we will send return instructions. Refunds go to the original payment method once the return arrives. If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, email us with your order number and we will make it right. Your rights under applicable consumer law remain in place.

Accounts

An email address is required with every order. A mobile phone number is optional. You may check out as a guest or create an account to keep your order history together. Accounts are opened and used only with a one-time code texted to your mobile number; there are no customer passwords. Guest orders are added to the account of whoever later signs in with the phone number used on them, so please enter your own number correctly. Keep your phone and codes private, never share a sign-in code (we will never ask for one), and contact account support if you change or lose your number or suspect someone else has accessed your account. Promotional email is always a separate, optional choice.

Text messages

Mud Mercantile sends text messages only when you ask for them:

• Sign-in codes: one text with a one-time code each time you request one on our sign-in form.
• Order texts (optional): if you tick “Text me order and shipping updates” at checkout, we text about that order: a confirmation with a link to your receipt and your punch card status, then shipping and delivery updates. This is usually 2 to 4 texts per order. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also reach us at [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not sell or share your mobile number or your consent. See our Privacy Policy.

Punch card and referral rewards

Our punch card and referral rewards are a thank-you for genuine, paid orders. A punch is added once an order is paid and becomes final when it ships; punches from orders that are cancelled, fully refunded or returned are removed, and a reward unlocked by those orders may be withdrawn. After a partial refund that takes an order below the punch minimum, we may remove that order’s punch. Free bonus punches (for creating an account, for joining our studio letters, and the extra punch on a first order) are given once per person and household. Rewards have no cash value and can’t be exchanged or transferred. Earned rewards are guaranteed to work for 120 days from when they are earned; after that they may expire or change with the program. Each customer may hold one account. We may remove punches or rewards, cancel reward orders, refuse referral credit, or close accounts where we reasonably believe the program is being misused, for example through multiple or shared accounts, self-referrals or fake referrals, or orders placed in order to be returned or cancelled. We may change or end the program at any time; rewards already earned stay usable for at least 120 days from when they were earned.
