Classic four-point glaze dipping tongs with red grips for holding mugs, bowls and vases while you dip them in glaze.

About 12.8 in long and about 3.7 in across the jaws.
Mugs, cups, small to medium bowls and vases that the jaws can grip from rim to foot. Heavy or very wide pieces are easier to pour-glaze.
Place one jaw's points on the rim and the other on the foot, squeeze firmly, dip, then shake gently to drain before setting the piece down.
Any grip point leaves a small bare spot. Pointed tips keep those spots tiny, and you can dab them with a fingertip of glaze or a small brush once the piece is out of the bucket.
A typical dip is about two to four seconds, depending on the glaze thickness and how porous the bisque is. Test on a tile first and record the time that gives the result you want.

Dipping tongs hold a pot by four small points so you can dip it fully in glaze and lift it out without fingerprints. Two prongs on each jaw grip the rim and foot while you dip.
