Use soft to soft leather-hard clay. The deep relief needs a firm, even push, so back the wall with your hand to keep a mug or tile from bowing.
Dust the PLA with cornstarch or press through plastic wrap. Wipe it with a damp cloth after use and clear the petal grooves with a soft brush before the clay dries.
Yes, better than most shallow stamps, since the relief is deep. A breaking glaze or underglaze wiped into the petals keeps the bouquet readable on tile centers and mugs.
