Lay the screen on leather-hard or bone-dry clay, where its film backing sits flat, and smooth out air bubbles. Pull creamy underglaze across it, then lift straight up to keep fine botanical detail crisp.

Use underglaze on pottery headed for the kiln. The screen is also used with water-based acrylic on polymer clay earrings, but acrylic does not survive firing.
