Wood-handled foam daubers in several sizes plus round sponges. The 28 piece style has more pieces than the 20 piece style.

Rinse the foam heads and round sponges after each session, squeeze them out, and let them dry in the open with the handles up. Sitting wet in a bucket is what turns foam sour.

Set some of the 28 pieces aside for color only. Use the round sponges for water and clay, and keep the daubers for underglaze so stray clay does not muddy your colors.
