Yes. Use the 60 or 100 grit wet to grind the drip, then smooth with the finer pads.
Smooth greenware with a damp sponge if you can, since dry-sanding greenware raises silica dust. Diamond pads are for fired pieces, such as smoothing foot rings and glaze drips, and are best used wet.
Water keeps dust down and keeps abrasive pads from clogging.

Diamond pads cut fired ceramic and glaze where sandpaper cannot. Use the coarse grits to grind down glaze drips and rough foot rings, then work up through the fine grits for a smooth finish.
