A fettling knife is the potter’s all-purpose blade: cut slabs and templates, trim seams and mold lines, carve leather-hard clay and scrape away excess.
- Knife A: long, tapered flexible blade with a round beech handle
- Knife B: shorter, stiffer blade with a riveted beech handle for fine control
- Stainless steel blades that will not rust
- Choose either knife, or both as a set
The blades are sharp; store them with the tips covered.
